We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Manager to lead our team and ensure efficient workflow while fostering the growth and development of our team members. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and expertise in estimating and CC One management.


Job Summary

As the Shop Manager at Michael J's Collision, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our facility. You will lead a team of technicians, estimators, and support staff, with a focus on enhancing productivity, maintaining high-quality standards, and nurturing talent within the team. Your expertise in estimating and proficiency in the CC One management system will be essential to succeed in this position.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and implement strategies for enhancing team synergy and workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with estimators and technicians to ensure the accurate and timely completion of repair projects.
  • Manage and maintain the quality of repair work on the shop floor.
  • Create a positive and professional work environment that encourages growth and excellence.
  • Utilize your 5+ years of estimating experience to provide guidance and support in the estimation process.
  • Implement and oversee the utilization of the CC One management system.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the production process to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in estimating within the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency with the CC One management system.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Results-driven with the ability to facilitate work production effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
